TRISHNA ...Thirst for Excellence (An IT meet cum Software Exhibition) ,the brain child of the students of MCA and the Principal Sri.E.Bhagiratha Rao.Matrusri Institute of P.G. Studies (MIPGS) - part of M.V.S.R. Engineering College, Currently offering MCA, MBA and MSc (Computer Science) courses with an objective to produce committed and competent professionals in emerging technologies who will play a leading role in building the future world. Every year students of MIPGS organize an annual event TRISHNA which is a platform for the budding professionals to showcase their talents, and to bridge the gap between the Academia and S/W Industry.

TRISHNA invites professionals to showcase their talents and generate a passion qualities and excellence in what ever they do.Professionals from the computer streams like MCA, B.Tech, MBA and MScs round the state will be there to present their skills and battle their wits, the best always wins!

Technical personnel from top IT companies are being invited for the event. We take pride in the fact that we are the first among the colleges in twin-cities to introduce the concept of the Software Exhibition and continuing the same. Eminent Academicians and Industry Personnel will grace the event by their patronage and participation.

The venue is Tagore Auditorium, Osmania Campus centrally located in the city with good academic ambience. Dignitaries who can channelize our thoughts, inspire, throw light on various complex & current issues are being invited to participate, interact and advise the students.

SPOORTHY

An annual MCA -Alumni Meet conducted on 26th January every year where Ex-students of MIPGS share their real time/on the job experiences with the current students of MIPGS. The objective of Spoorthy is to establish Industry Academic relationship and develop networking among current batch students and previous batches students.

SRUJANA

Srujana is a tri monthly in-house magazine, which is published by the students of MIPGS. The objective of Srujana is to enhance the writing and creative skills among the students.

SRESHTA

Sreshta - Heading towards excellence is an Alumni meet where all the Ex-students of MIPGS share their real time/on the job experiences with the current students of MIPGS. The objective of Sreshta is to establish Industry Academic relationship and develop networking among current batch students and previous batches students.

UDBHAV

A platform for Industry- Institute Interface where students of MIPGS give paper presentations in front of the representatives of the industry. The industry experts evaluate the presentations and give suggestions to students to enhance their skills.
