MCA-2011: 19 students got placed in organizations like CTS, Infosys, Mahindra Satyam, UHG, Riktam technologies in the campus selections and another ten students got placed in PSU banks.
MBA-2011: Companies approach Placement cell for database of students who have finished MBA, six students of MIPGS and three of MVSR got placed till date in Geojit BNP Paribas (3-MIPGS, 3-MVSR) and Karvy Stock Broking (3-MIPGS).
MCA-2010:45 students (out of eligible 60) got placed in companies like CTS, Infosys, Mahindra Satyam, Accenture, and TCS and so on.
MBA-2010: 39 (out of eligible 86) students got placed in companies like DMV, Karvy, UBS, BOA, HSBC, ICICI Bank, Amazon, Factset, and SBI and so on.

Activities:
1. Creating a database of all students with information starting from
10th class onwards to the present.
2. Organising training programmes and Guest Lectures on Personality
development by eminent personalities from industry and academecia which are aimed at
developing soft skills and career planning.
3. Regular interaction with firms and inviting them to the campus for
placements.
4. To receive the requirement norms of interested firms and shortlisting
of candidates to suit the needs
5. Provide a platform to firms for conducting the written tests,
interviews etc at college campus.
6. Regular interaction with alumni and incorporating valuable
suggestions received.
Career Counseling
The Placement & Career Guidance Cell provides special Career
Counselling. Any student can contact the Career Guidance Cell to discuss about their field
of interest and analyze the possible career prospects. This enables the student in
developing his/her career plan.
The Placement Cell keeps in constant touch with Industry and other
R&D organizations for student projects also.
The MCA students of the department are well placed in reputed firms like
Wipro, CTS, BAAN, Satyam, CMC, Sierra Atlantic, , Kanbay, Virtusa, Birla Soft, and DSL
Software, Polaris, etc.
Our MBA Students are well placed in organizations like CMC, Bajaj
Allianz, Kotak Mahindra, Ranbaxy, ICICI,
G E Capital, Delloitte, Intelligroup, UTI Bank, etc.
About 30% of the students pursue their further studies in India and
abroad and about 20% secure jobs on their own within six months of the completion of their
course.5% of the students opt for entrepreneurship as their career. |
