Mr.Srikanth Kolaventy obtained his Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Osmania University and acquired Masters in Information Technology (MIT) from University of Udine, Italy. He has joined the faculty of MCA Department of MIPGS, Saidabad, Hyderabad as Lecturer in the year 2000 and was promoted as Associate Professor in 2007. He has put in 11 years of service at MIPGS.
His subject of expertise includes Object Oriented Programming with C++, Visual Programming using VC++, Client Server Programming using JAVA, Object Oriented Systems & Design with UML, Information Systems Control and Audit, Software Testing, Business Data Processing, Data Warehousing and Data Mining, and Unix Programming.
Presently Mr. Srikanth is pursuing Ph.D (Part-time) in Web Mining from Acharya Nagarjuna University. He has published few research articles in reputed National and International conferences and published books with reputed publishers.
He was the co-ordinator for the three Training Programmes conducted at MIPGS on Advance Linux programming and 1 short-term (1 week) and Basic Linux skills for the DRDO Scientists in association with Institute of Defense Scientists and Technologists (IDST) and Veda solutions. Also, he was the Convener for TRISHNA, an intercollegiate IT-meet cum Software Exhibition.
